The office staff is extremely accommodating and friendly also- Kelly and Kyle are AMAZING . It could not be better located. It offered amenities that most communities did not.
submitted by Sean R. - |Recommended: YesReview — After living here for 6 months I can say I do enjoy it. I wish the parking was better and there was high-speed internet. Not sure if we will renew our lease yet.

The convenience of the golf course, the walks, the community, and the view is quiet and gorgeous. Some downfalls of the community include the upkeep of the landscaping as well as excess litter laying around. In addition, parking is terrible, and most of the time you are not able to park in front of your own garage due to the fact that you might block someone else in. Kyle in the front office is awesome and will make sure he does everything he can to ensure your happiness while living at the Hills of Aberdeen.

I always liked the look and the location of the apartments in that area. Living close to the golf course was a nice add-on. But, I guess I don't need to tell you the problems I had with the heating, pipes, etc. You apartments suffer from architectural deficits, that cannot be fixed easily. The fact that the heating boiler was placed in the outside patio closet, with -20F in winters does not perform at all. The second apartment I was using had the luxury that the pipes didn't freeze, but still, the heating was not able to maintain temperatures around 65F . I remember a lot of people having frozen pipes and waters for their restrooms, not able to take a shower, moving into hotels for a couple of days. This is something highly intolerable. The second biggest issue is internet connectivity. I need to tell you that your Frontier offer, is, in fact, a no offer . Asking people for lots of money for a 3MBit download is hilarious. At good times, my smartphone at Aberdeen can do 9 MBit s. The fact that you cannot provide sufficient bandwidth at your place, kills it for every business-related client that would like to work from home. Overall, I believe your apartments would need some investments and upgrades. Apartments in that price range usually come with working heat, sufficient internet band with, new appliances and washer dryer. Since your current business model is based on short term stays until somebodies house is being finished, I guess my critics won't affect you much. But I recommend starting with putting in smaller investments, otherwise, the whole thing will fall apart sooner or later.

It’s always quiet around the apartment buildings during the day and night...I feel very safe here. Apartment is very nice. It’s very quiet, I live in a basement apartment and I rarely hear my neighbors. When I do it’s very faint sound. The office staff is very nice and helpful. The maintenance staff take care of any issues in a timely manner. The maintenance issues were small things... nothing major. The fitness room and pool are very nice Overall great place to live

What few minor maintenance issues I've had were always corrected immediately. The only reason I'm leaving is because I took a job in another state.
